Animal printed women’s wear has been very popular season after season the last years. But NOW it’s time for our gorgeous men out there to join in.. Welcome to the jungle guys…!

…and this is how it’s done! In the last issue of W Magazine you’ll find the one of the best jewelry editorial I’ve ever seen. Horacio Salinas makes high end jewels to something playful and cute, but still very luxurious. Give us more!
Why on earth did I miss this jewelry editorial from Paris Vogue 2012? Magdalena Frackowiak looks amazing wearing these gorgeous jewelries. And I haven’t even mentioned the location, hair and makeup. Magnifique!!

Even though my hair is straight from the 80s on this picture, I’m in a very “early 90s-mood” these days.. Guess it’s going to last through the summer. Denim, well worn t-shirts and golden accessories.. Hellooo mama!

Last week I did the annual tour to all the press agencies in Oslo to have a look at the collections for fall. To say that I’m already looking forward to fall would be a big lie. I want summer, now! BUT there were lots of nice pieces. By Malene Birger, COS, Hunkydory and Maria Black are just some of my favorites for next season.. But now.. SS13!
Photo: Alexander Norheim/The-Sceptic
The photographer David Orias captures the world in ways our eyes cannot see… However the thing I DO see is that these color combinations are such an inspiration for summer dressing. Dark and light blue together with soft and creamy colors and a touche of gold. Mmmm! Living in California for a while wouldn’t hurt either…
Flower printed clothes are definitely not synonymous with grandmothers anymore. Dior, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta were just some of the designers who set the “blooming standard” this season. In the latest issue of Town and Country, Ruven Afanador has photographed this cute and playful editorial showing you how to wear this colorful trend this summer. (Like I told you; I have flowers on my mind)

I can assure you that this skirt from Carven will be doing some serious dancing, swinging and booty shaking this summer! (I’ve already started…)
BLK DNM has proved that they really know how to do dead drop rock and roll wearable and make sexy, laid-back leather pieces to cover our shoulders. An extra applause for the presentation of the collection. Artistic photos shot by the designer Johan Lindeberg himself. In other words; a multi-talented man!!!
People who are close to me know that music is one of my (many) passions in life. Therefor my heart just made a flip flop when I discovered this DJ who makes cool music and has a great sense when it comes to album covers. Music and art work so damn well together.

“Darius is a moment of passion and pleasure, a pause for dreams and desire, a fresh breeze of seduction and inspiration.”
Dear Darius Magazine! Congrats with an exquisite first issue! Quite frankly, the magazine reminds me more of a table book than a magazine. Here are some sneak peaks of the beautiful editorial “Hello I love you won’t you tell me your name” shot by Jens Stoltze. Quite a love story! Give us more Darius!
I think YOU should read the interview I did on Mardou&Dean designer Ingrid Bredholt for PudderPrint.com. Not only does she make killer pieces every season, she is also one of those girls who is loaded with good stuff between her ears.
Here I am in an outfit from their SS13 collections.
Remember the eleven year old fashion blogger named Tavi? The girl on front row with light, blue hair, big round glasses and a geeky- boyish style? Well, the “little kid” has become an young lady now. And what a chic and feminine, little lady! Check out her genius blog The Style Rookie!
I am a huge fan of the swimwear from Minimale Animale. A Los Angeles based brand designed by Cassandra Kellogg. Here is a little sneak peak of the Spring/Summer collection. Baywatch 2013 here I come!
There’re lots of reasons for buying the newest ELLE (interview with the designer darling Victoria Beckham just to mention), but also this shopping guide styled by Caroline Skjelbred! Love how true that girl is to her “signature look”. Always feminine and playful with a lot of things “going on” in the styling!

I really doubt that Sam Sparro was talking about fashion when he sang “Black & Gold” in the musical Fame. But now, I do. I’m saying goodbye to white tank tops for a while and hello to the black ones. Paired with golden simplicity. Black & Gold… Black & Gold.. Tralala!

Michael Chase uses colors, distortion, layering, and digital manipulation when he creates his insanely interesting and beautiful art. And when you look through his art it’s easy to see that this is an artist who never will stop evolving and take his picture to a new colorful horizon. Rest your eyes on his colorful art here
FWSS has really taken a step in the right direction with their new collection! With a new designer on board (Nina Granerod) the FWSS girl went from being a girl to a women just over the night. Fashion magic?

Yo! Zup? The birds have started to sing again which means – SPRING IS HERE! I had a meeting with the new Norwegian brand Karmoie the other day for an article on PudderPrint. And EYE CANDY, HELLO! I am so excited about their design that I had to borrow these chic, burgundy babies just to show you.
P.s: For every pair of sunglasses a customer purchases, a pair of eyejusters is donated to different charity projects in Africa. Finally some design-oriented charity that isn’t dull and ugly.
Some women aren’t like other women! STYLEBY’s editor-in-chief Jonna Bergh is one of them! With a working moral like dynamite and a sense of style that says “BOM! In-your-face” she is defiantly a fascinating lady in the fashion industry. Read the interview I did on her here on PudderPrint.com. Has Carine Roitfeld got a competitor?

It’s here! It’s here! It’s here! My favorite magazine is here!
Two times a year a new gentle woman is born. This season the magazine is filled with interviews with some of the most fascinating women of today such as Isabel Marant and Beyoncé. (A little digression; miss B. peforming during Superbowl!!!! – Hottie!!!) Back to the magazine.. A little bird also told me that our dear Norwegian model Iselin Steiro does her magic in one of the editorials. LET THE NEW SEASON BEGIN!
I had never heard of the English electronic trio “Darkstar” until yesterday, when this album cover caught my eye! Hello paradise! I guess this is how it looks like in heaven! I haven’t figured out who the artist is but it looks like he has used some kind of digital print! Dear new technology, I would like to welcome you to the art-world.

Due to a wealthier middle class in Asia (and Asia not being a part of the financial crises here in Europe.), Asia is getting a huge impact on the fashion industry in the rest of the world. Due to that, Asian models are really starting to set their standard in the model industry as well. Vogue, Victoria Secret, Prada, Kenzo are just a few of the clients who are crazy about “the Asian look”. Here are four (out of many) hot Asian models at the moment.
For those of you who understand Norwegian I suggest that you check out the latest interview I did on PudderPrint. Marianne Haugli is her name, and may I say that she is one of the most talented and admirable multi-artists we have here in Norway. Such a lady!

Home in Oslo after an inspiring and exhausting trip to Stockholm Fashion Week for Pudderprint. Full of work, laughter and more work. I have to say that Dagmar pulled off one of the strongest collections this year. It’s exciting to see that a Swedish brand (which is known for their minimalistic and clean design) dare to go “the sexy road”, in a sharp uniform style. BOM! (See the collection and read my little review here) But before I’m going all “military-girl” the next fall, I’ll dig into this “well hello there jacket” from their coming summer collection.

“Hey, let’s make a sleek, sexy, kind of wet look- beauty editorial for PudderPrint!” “No, wait! Let’s make a sleek, sexy, kind of wet look- beauty VIDEO for PudderPrint.” And so we did. Together with the director and Photographer Solveig Selj, makeup artist Tomas Erdis and the beautiful model Sophia V from Team Models we made this short little video with the only intention; to inspire! You’ll find it here on PudderPrint
And by the way! I am at Stockholm Fashion Week at the moment for PudderPrint.com. Check out the web-magazine for pictures and reviews from the very best Sweden has to offer.
Two days ago I did an editorial for the Norwegian ELLE. After we all screamed “It’s a wrap” (!) I asked the photographer if he could be a gentleman and take a quick snapshot of the new little treasure on my index finger. So.. yeah.. What more can I say.. Simplicity?

It started out as an idea from an article I read; how men in the late 80′s went from being a “voyeur”/ a viewer to be “the viewed item” by women. Calvin Klein, Bruce Weber og Herb Ritts were some of the people who fronted this development”.
Together with the talented, Norwegian photographer Fred Jonny, some of the best male models in Norway at the moment and a handful of other contributors, we created the editorial “Voyeurs”. Eye candy with a big “E”!! See the whole editorial at PudderPrint.com
StyleMags new issue is all about denim! And yesterday (early morning) they made a sweet little event to celebrate it. Jet lagged from India and in lack of caffeine, I quickly pulled together an outfit which didn’t have the slightest hint of denim. (I didn’t realize that before I entered the room 30 minutes later.) So.. Dear StyleMag! This blog post is for YOU! Congratulations with a great, first issue of 2013. Let them come! Let them come!

Fashion photographer Nick Knight has captured his last summer through Instagram. I’ve had these pictures on my desktop for a long time, and every time I look at them I find new elements or inspiring color combinations. Oh, nature.. Your so fucking beautiful!! (With or without an Instagram filter!)

I am not saving the world through my job as a blogger, not as an editor and certainly not as a model. In fact I’m doing the total opposite! Even though the term ”fashion” is related to esthetic, art, experiences and feelings, a big part of it is about materialism and consumption. And hey, I’m going to be honest with you.. Finding that perfect necklace or those killer heels gives me a huge rush.
To have a ”passion for fashion” is not a new phenomenon. NO! Throughout history people have cared about how they dress, added new garments to their wardrobe and taken fashion forward. BUT as a consumer and observer it’s obvious that the whole thing is out of control. People give no more thoughts to buy a new blouse than they do a Cappuccino. Even though clothes are getting cheaper and cheaper it doesn’t mean that we can buy more and more of them. I know I’m not in the right position to tell you to stop loving clothes or buying them (And I don’t want to either), but I want to encourage you to put more passion into your choice of purchases and to love every single piece you buy or already own. As an example: My grandma has one white blouse which in her opinion is perfect. Therefore she treats it with love and tender care. She doesn’t need another one. I think she is a wonderful example. (Having mentioned that, I do own more than one white blouse…)
As I said, fashion doesn’t save the world. Our consumption is actually destroying it. But by being more conscious about our consumption, we could take fashion back to its “roots” and enjoy it for the joyful, playful and beautiful phenomenon it used to be.

“The image that comes out in a magazine or whatever, I see it more like an avatar of this person. It’s not really how they look, but it doesn’t matter. We always say a picture’s not reality. It was never meant to be” – Inez & Vindoodh for Industrie Magazine.

One of the artist you should keep an eye on in 2013 is Sang W F Kim! The young artist let the art speaks for itself, and let the audience define it. These are definitely my favorites from his previous work. An interesting and beautiful way of playing with identity!

You probably think that you’re looking at a piece of art. Well, you kind of are, but you’re also looking at different scarfs from Athena Procopiou! – Really? You say! Yes, really! When I look at the different prints I feel like I’m being taken for a ride into space, where the surroundings look like a psychedelic fantasy world. Well, down to earth..! What to choose?
The scarfs can be bought at Net-A-Porter and My-Wardrobe
The red dress! Maybe the most sexy garment of them all! But yet, slightly difficult to wear… I guess the secret is to tone it down. Make your outfit into a blurry picture: Not too obvious, but a little bit more interesting. But that’s just a theory…

Say hello to the chicest girl in town. (Or at least a Swedish town.) The ever so stunning Emma Elwin works as a fashion editor in the Swedish ELLE, and has a out-of-this-earth-great sense of style. I like the way she puts a Nordic touch to her French way of dressing. Delicate, edgy and confident!

Put photographer Juergen Teller and designer Phoebe Philo into the same room and you will get magic (and amazing campaign pictures)! The past seasons pictures are more like artistic eye candy than adverts. (Or maybe a combination of both).

Featured in the latest “Massiv”, together with a mix of great people. The editor in chief Nathalie Helgerud and photographer Stephen Butkus visited me a couple of weeks ago in order to have a photo taken. The photographer is normally behind the camera, but being a good looking guy, having a bunch of nice tattoos AND wearing light blue jeans, we thought he might be an excellent “accessory” for the pink suit. So the visitors did a spontaneously role shift.
The killer-pink dress is from Tiger of Sweeden!

I don’t usually post videos on my blog, but this dancing love story made such a huge impression on me. Dancing has a very special place in my heart, and when love and passion between two people are shown through that form of expression, it just gave me chills all over my body!

One of my favorite hobbies is to look for photographers I haven’t heard of. And good things come to those who wait! Recently I came a cross Cass Bird! In my opinion she has found that perfect sweet spot between taking edgy fashion photographies and more casual photos from the everyday life.

I’m was tempted to call my hairdresser and ask for a new haircut when I saw Karlie Kloss’s new new short locks of hair. I can’t decide if she looks young and feminine or grown up and feminene. But she’s foxy, that’s for sure!

There are people who never could let go of the 80′s. I can assure you that I’m not one of those! Too much glam and big shoulders. But there is one exception! This awesome-pink-oh-my-God-suit from Weekday’s new brand Fade to W, designed by Stine Goya. And Elen baby darling.. I’ll bet Don Johnson would have been drooling over you (and the suit)
I get so inspired by the nature! So, lately I’ve used all my spare time to watch BBC’s documentary “The blue planet” and dive into the pictures by one of my favorite photographer Gregory Colbert. A sweet escape from all the concrete and asphalt.

Sometimes you see an editorial which make you jump up and down on your chair like a crazy rabbit. These pictures from Vogue China did exactly that. The Swedish photographer Marcus Ohlsson is killing it behind the camera and Xiao Wang looks like a million dollar in front of it.

Three times the charm! STYLE.COM/print issue number 3 is here! (Or from November 5 to be accurate) The cover is some of the best I’ve seen in a very long time! (And spoiled lipstick has never looked that good before.) You can pre order the magazine here
Maison Martin Margiela for H&M’s lookbook is great! To see the clothes live is even better. Awesome (if I may say so)! I’ve already peeked out this tight, black blazer jacket and a old pink patterned floor length skirt. (And boys.. the menswear collection is pretty cool too)

I am waiting and waiting for the next issue of Mirage Magazine.
Photo: Jason Lee Parry – for Mirage Magazine
It started out as an idea. The idea was briefly discussed with my partner in crime, Christian Bakstad, and then it turned into an editorial for Pudderprint.com. Six new promising models, introduced in the very best way. And may I say so, I enjoy being behind the camera as much as I enjoy being in front of the camera! (And no, I haven’t changed my name and turned into a boy. We were just testing the light)
Check out CAUGHT on Pudderprint.com here
I am not crazy about the “SM trend” (black leather from top to toe), which we’ve seen a lot of this fall. Therefor it felt natural to pair this daring black leather dress with a cute baby blue beanie. (But as you see the posing didn’t come quite as natural…)

I wore this women’s suit from Tiger of Sweden yesterday (you’ll see why, in the end of November), and HELLO mama! Power-dressing is here to stay! It would be a pleasure to be the pink elephant in the room (or maybe more like the pink giraffe ).
Finally it’s official! Today we’re launching the web-magazine PudderPrint.com . This is something that I’ve been working on for a very long time and it feels… may I say awesome, to finally being able to show it to you.
The idea of Pudder Print is to create something beautiful, a place where creativity and inspiration can be shared through fashion, beauty and art. The web-magazine has its origin in the styling firm Pudder Agency.

I been waiting for this day SOO LONG! I pre-ordered this hand colored sweater six months ago from Kevin Azzopardi and now it’s mine, touching my skin. I remember I thought it would look smokin’ with some black leather pants.. And guess what! Two days ago Santa came to town with these (can I say sexy?) leather pants from Wiksén. What’s the odds for that? So… Now I’m kind of busy dancing to house music in my apartment.

Lying in my bed.. Sick! Bored! Feeling sorry for myself. Suddenly I remember a t-shirt I bought last week. ”That cartoon t-shirt..! Hmm!” Since I’ve seen all the big bloggers wearing exactly that type of t-shirt the last weeks (months?), I assume that this is very “right now” and probably something I should blog about too. I find a white wall. Strike a pose (ten), thinking that this is pathetic”, pressing publish and going back to bed.

Watch out for Jonathan Varcoe everybody! Not only is he a talented (and very good looking) model, he is also a brilliant artist who makes amazing and kind of playful drawings. His last job was the cover for CLMD singles “Black Eyes And Blue”. (Rumors say that he will be doing their next single too) We want’t to see more from you Varcoe!
Yesterday I did some research for a guest- blogpost about beauty icons throughout times, and suddenly Jean Shrimpton walked her way into my computer. Of course I’ve seen her on the iconic Harper’s Bazaar cover shot by Richard Avedon, but I never knew her name.. And holy Jesus Christ, she is beautiful!

A lot has been said about Norwegian fashion.. This season Mardou & Dean proved all the pessimists wrong by showing a kick ass mind blowing collection. There is a cockiness behind every pieces in their collection that I find really interesting. For the first time I’d rather watch a fashion show than doing it myself. Standing applause for the two designers! See the whole collection here

In my opinion the designer Raf Simons has taken Jil Sander to a whole new level. And it’s sad that he won’t be doing Jil Sander anymore (even though he had a freaking good start at Dior). To have one of his latest items in my wardrobe feels truly special.. I would say heavenly! Magical! Breathtaking! Splendid! (Okay, I’ll guess you got the point?)

I have been wearing this yummy dress on my birthday the last three years. And yesterday, on my 22th birthday, was no exception! My family and I went hiking in a middle age city called Erice in Sicily. They in sportswear from head to toe. Me in pink fine silk! Got to stick to some traditions, you know!

I know it’s a bad bad thing to snoop around in your friend’s underwear drawer. But guess what? I just did.! (In my defense I was badly in need for some styling for a little art project that Christian and I are up to.. Stay tuned). Anyway, back to the snooping.. Between thongs and bras I found this little sinner. A Jil Sander kind of way of wearing a sleeping mask! Hah!

And the Norwegian magazine Personae does it again..! In their latest issue you can find this eye candy of an editorial. Quite interesting how the styling works so well with the beautiful models Ada Martini and Torkel. Both with a minimalistic, Nordic look. Give me more! Give me more!

Ever since Raf Simons started designing for Jil Sander he has been one of my favorite designers. But after seeing his first debut haut couture collection for Christian Dior I am completely hooked. He kept Dior’s iconic look and transformed it into modern perfection. With Simons in charge we have some exciting upcoming seasons!

I always find inspiration on S Magazine’s blog. In this case, Francesca Woodman! She was such a fascinating woman! Unfortunately she committed suicide at the age of 22. Her photographies are a mix of dreams, romance and femininity. But also with ghostly elements. This young lady managed to create a lot of beauty while she was alive, and she sure left traces.

Great fashion design is art! In this case, non wearable, magnifique art!

So, I have this thing for feathers. Simply because they represent important things in my life. I found this perfect shaped, golden feather at SuMisura and it’s from an old Christian Lacroix creation. The beautiful artist and model Yvonne Es describes the big city life as a controlled chaos. “Lines of people, love, hate fashion, politics.. My paintings represent exactly that”, she says. Have you ever wondered where designers find their inspiration season after season? Well, I can tell you one thing. The designer behind Ti Mo gets inspired by vintage clothings. Girls, you can look forward to this year’s fall. Gee! I have always been a huge fan of Wiksén, but this season she has really outdone herself. With Edie Sedgwick and Patti Smith as inspiration, the designer has made a sexy, chick and edgy collection. As you can see in the last picture we had a great time shooting the campaign. Haha!

I find this picture so amusing! The brain behind it is the 82-year-old Yayoi Kusama. And the best part is.. She will be working on a collaboration with fashion house Louis Vuitton. So excited!
I have been living in delicate light fabrics and a bikini for a month now. In other words, almost naked. Back home I got a huge reality check. Winter freezing wonderland! Look closer.. even closer! Pan is a painter and a tattoo artist with some beautiful artistic work on his body. The three blue tattoos on his cheekbone especially caught my attention. What a beautiful personal statement! I’ll show you some of his paintings later..

Here is my love to you from India! Unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to share the beauty of what India has to offer until now (no wi-fi and the policy of “no pictures allowed”). I’ll shortly brief you. The first two weeks was dedicated to an ashram in Kerala. It was two very intense weeks of meditation, yoga, lectures, chanting and singing. Good times! Suddenly I felt a draw to the sweet beach life . I bought the first bikini I saw and went to South Goa. So here I am swimming in the Arabic Ocean with an ugly light blue bikini, which is probably from the early 80′s. To be continued…

I literally fell off my chair when I saw the Chanel pre12 collection. Oh my..! I am thinking India and the Middle East, like a beloved couple heading for a proper dinner party. I believe that we will see others designers inspired my India the coming season. Just guessing..

Once up on a time there was barber named Kaare Korperud who wanted to save every man in Oslo from a bad hair day and a messy beard. He found a nice place in Josefinesgate and transformed it into a macho and minimalistic barber-shop. He put out books for his costumers, books for inspiration, books with pictures of native Americans and famous actors from the early 60s. And from that day on Oslo got their own professional barber. And fortunately the fairytale hasn’t ended.

FINALLY! I pre-ordered the book “Carine Roitfeld The Irreverent” two months ago, and now it’s mine. The book is almost as big as I am, and filled with interviews and pictures of the former chief editor of French Vogue. Dear all men out there. You look so damn good when you wear a suit. You looked good way back in the 1800 and believe me, you still do. There is something about a man’s suit. Whether it is single or double breasted, with or without padding on the shoulders, one or two splits in the back, made out of silk or wool, it is always so stylish. Yesterday I participated in a course in how to learn more about men’s suits. I really liked the way Victor, who guided us through the course, wore his suit. However the detail I enjoyed the most, was how he combined the dandy and polished look with some suede everyday shoes. Like the Italien puts it: So Sprezzatura!

Blir helt lamslått hver gang jeg ser bilder av Jane Birkin. Nærmere definisjonen av vakker, finnes ikke. Denne sommeren kommer jeg til å trykke stilen hennes til mitt hjerte og la meg inspirere. I am always amazed every time I see a picture of Jane Birken. She is the definition of beautiful. This summer I am going to submerge myself in her style and let myself be inspired. This is a style that is influenced not only by the bohemian 70’s in Paris but also minimalism. Je t’aim moi non plus…
